6.8 Single contractor. If a single contractor manufactures the total item, the classification of defects does
not apply. The appropriate specifications will apply.
6.9 Initiator component. When the M104 initiator is being manufactured as a component of the M113
initiator those tests such as residual magnetism and radiographic inspection specified for the M104 in MIL-
DTL-50374 and MIL-DTL-50375 which are also required by this specification are waived for the component
items but shall be done on the assembled M113 initiator as specified herein.
6.10 Changes from previous issue. Marginal notations are not used to identify changes with respect to the
previous issue because of the extensiveness of the changes. This revision was authorized by ECP number
045220I016.
