3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 General. The requirements in this specification sheet, unless in direct conflict with the basic
specification, shall be considered additional, not substitute. The loaded rocket catapult shall conform to the
documents specified herein and the applicable documents listed on DL4904294, DL4904030, DL1517547,
and DL1517580.
3.2 Preproduction/production.
3.2.1 Ballistic performance. The rocket catapult shall meet the requirements of tables I and II when test
fired using an ejected weight of 317 pounds (see 6.3 for definitions).

4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS
4.1 Preproduction.
4.1.1 Sample size. Twenty rocket catapults shall be submitted for preproduction inspection and tested in
accordance with table III of MIL-A-85097.
